The Govna (well former): for the Dispatch

The Ohio Gubernatorial elections were held this past Tuesday and Republican John Kasich won a close race between him and incumbent democratic candidate Ted Strickland.  About a week before the election Strickland made a stop in Athens on a last minute campaign swing through the state.  Strickland, who hails from the Southeast Ohio region, was in Athens for a little less than an hour and the majority of that time he was crammed into a small dungeon of a room in the Athens County Democratic Headquarters.  Obviously these weren’t ideal conditions for a photographer, but all in all it was a decent days work for a Saturday afternoon so I won’t complain.
