7.8.12 – Nationals vs. Rockies

So, a week after wrapping up my first PGA Tour event I got to shoot my first MLB game. It’s been a great year for baseball in the District with the Nats currently standing on top of the NL East standings and being heralded as one of the most exciting teams in baseball thanks to young stars like Harper (above), Zimmerman, Strasburg, and Gonzalez anchoring a team that has become a surprise contender about a year or two ahead of schedule. So even though the Nats lost this game, it’s been great to photograph a team that people are talking about, and I look forward to following this team for years to come. And, as always in D.C. it was really freaking hot (above).
